Are you using a tripod? It's nearly impossible to get sharp macros hand-held.

i'm sorry for the late reply.
i currently, don't own a tripod. one is one my list of new items w/ a dslr. [i am still undecided, there] my photos are hand held [except a rare night shot, but even then i'll hand hold -why? i dont now-just for the practice?] & i usually only post those i am somewhat happy with. today is an exception: if the subject is real small, such as teeny-tiny,pinhead sized bubbles [today] then i run into problems, with the camera i am using at this time.
