Hi everyone - I got out and took some more wildflower pictures last weekend. I took 125 pictures in the sagebrush steppe country near here. Things will start to dry up within the next month and the bloom will be about over. Time to head for the mountains and the coolconifers and streams.

I've included one I took of Thompson Paintbrush. This is related to the pretty red paintbrushes we see in the mountains, but this variety likes the dry climate of the sagebrush land. It kind of suites the drab green of the sagebrush and looks kind of pretty among it- Bruce
