Fantastic Carlo. Is that a huge head or massive eyes on the hoverfly?

Absolutely perfect Carlo!

Could give some information about your equipment and technique for such shots?

Regards,

Stefan

thanks everyone for last comments
The problem Stefan is that there is nothing to explain
D300 and 70/180 macro. Time fast, Burst and manual focus
and observe the behavior of insects to find the best time to do these shots
