....also called Japanese Anemone. Taken today while trying out a 3.2 megapixel Canon A410 that I just bought on eBay because I wanted a small, spare, pocketable camera to use when my Olympus C2100 UZ is too cumbersome.

At first I thought it was defective because the pictures were all foggy - until I looked at the lens. It looked as though somebody had smeared the glass with an oily cloth. After gently cleaning it with lens cleaning fluid, the results improved.

Picture is original size (2048x1536) sharpened with Photoshop Unsharp mask, but in a file compressed just enough to comply with Steve's maximum.
