Default Missed opportunity....

I shot this discarded shell of a grasshopper. Only after I got home and looked at the photo, I realized that the owner of the "skin" was right next to it and I didn't see it!!! Would have been interesting to shoot from a different angle...

It's always amazed me the things I "miss" when photographing only to see more when I look at the picture.

If you want to "see" something amazing - watch Brain Games on the National Geographic channel. They have some really interesting facts and examples of how our brain interprets and processes things we "see".

It really is amazing...I watched my tarantula molt a few months ago. 8 hrs and the old skin stays intact, legs and all.
