Went for a drive today enjoying this beautiful weather. Drove for about two hours and I think I was just deep in thought and didn't find anything to shoot. So on the way home about 10 minutes from the house I stopped at a local stream to just take a break from driving and finally took my first picture of the day.

this is a nice one, can we eat it someday?
I always carry a tripod with me, but it was nearly never used up to now.

TY Sven, I been searching for Mushrooms for a month now and not much luck. I alway's come across them before I got my camera and now.... Well you know the deal. But it's becoming winter here soon so not much luck , have to wait till next spring and summer for more.

So we are on the lucky side of life!
We have a very mild autumn - the mushrooms like these conditions.
Most of my mushroom shots were taken 1000m away from my home.
If you like, just look at the sunday pictures:

I like it. But the background is a bit bright for mushrooms, no...

I always thought those guys grow in dark forest!!! At least the ones I eat. Not in the NL, though:(...

That's a very pretty mushroom and so unusual. Nice shot.

that's a nice shot, we've got plenty of mushrooms in our front yard, i keep walking right by them...i'll have to take a second look.

Yes you should Julies, especially the way you take those beautiful macro shots of flowers. I want to get a Macro lens, but need to save first. Just wondering julies what camera and lens do you use when shooting most of your flowers?

And TY to everyone for the comments, now if I can just find some more mushrooms.
