ahh..your lucky the flowers aren't blooming yet in New Jersey (at least the Day Lilies....the butterflies really go for those...)....so i haven't gotten to shoot butterflies yet...they normally are so focused on eating that they don't even notice you! even some of the bees (wouldn't test them as much though lol)

Nice one!

I've tried lots of insect-on-flower shots but my last camera wasn't up to it - the autofocus just didn't work in macro.

So this year with the 300D I'm looking forward to filling in some gaps in the collection. Just waiting for the flowers to start opening here. Saw my first butterfly of the spring wafting past on Sunday so...
