Snails are said to move slowly, but this little guy (his shell was less than an inch across) was on a plastic lid about the size of a dinner plate & moved so fast that I had to keep picking him up because by every third picture (I took over 50) he'd gone from one side of the lid to the other. Camera - Canon SD400

While I don't particularly care for snails in general, this is a really good photo.

Great detail in there.. sure - it's slipery, when wet.. try to put a snail on ground.. moving slowly..
