Can the SP590 get that close in macro mode, or did you use
a macro lens/adapter?

Thanks corkpix. I've just purchased an Olympus MCON-40 macro conversion lens which you use with a CLA-11 adapter. All of these were taken using the lens. #5 is the full magnification. However, the camera's own macro and super macro settings are very good as well. Do you have an SP590?
