Cracker-sharp images mate ~ tho like most closeups we never have quite enough depth of field do we?

It looks very much like what we aussies call the "european wasp", an unwanted & introduced pest that does millions of dollars damage to crops and bee hives every year

Nice detailed shots. We call them yellow jackets. I swell up like a balloon when they sting me.

I don't know for species . In Europe there are many wasps species
