Oh, this is one really great picture. They are really "showing off" (perhaps too soon)

Their readyness in anatomical detail...

Carolus Linneaus (Carl von Linné) would have loved it

I´m buying either a G7 or a close-up lens the coming spring. What did you use for this one?

This was shot with my 30D and the Tamron 24-135 at 135mm, from about 25cm away.... that lens is really quite good for close-ups like this.

flowers are blooming in washington while everything is covered in snow and ice and missouri

*nice shot, but did you use the sharpen tool in photoshop or something? looks like it does when you oversharpen an image :?

Okay....I'm jealous......in Kansas we are just thawing out from the ice/sleet/snow we received the 2nd weekend in January...I even checked for some life in my crocus' and nothing.....................

Great shot, love the color and clarity.

Beauty, top notch picture. Perfect contrasting colors. How does Nature do that? Never mind I think I'll just enjoy it and not ask questions.
