Nice shots Rocky, was that natural dew? I have been know to carry a mister with me for some instant dew ;)... shhhh don't tell.
I like the Pussywillow buds alot.

i love that first picture, how the flowers look like they have blue and red on them? what kind are they you know? are they wild?

thanks for the kind words. i have no idea what kind of flowers those are; i just happened upon them at the botanical garden, and there wasn't a sign identifying them... :(

and yes, that was natural dew, not a mister. it was a clear morning, and the sun had just begun to hit that part of the garden, so the dew had not dried yet...

#2 is a beautyful picture, also technically superb. "Pussywillow" - interesting name. In my language it has a somewhat similar name, "Kattfot" which means cat´s foot.

Spotmetering, I suppose. I missed ifocus in this little picture from last spring

Loved seeing your good, crisp, and beautiful photos. I liked the drowsy looking flower under the morning sunlight in the first one.
For the second, I think tottaly blured background makes the object and your shot very distinctive.
