Awesome. Liked the dark framing at the corners and periphery of the image as well as the out focus effect on the foliage, both of which help draw viewers attention to the flowers at the centre. What is more is: the flowers are brilliant in colour and details. A pity: the image is a bit too small in size. Would have been fantastic if the file size had beenpushed up a bitto around 200-250 kb, so the picture couldhave beenlarger. Anyway, congratulations for the beautiful image!

Thank you!

I consider this as a request for a larger image.. Here you go:

DigitalGal

Would you please tell a bit more about how you made the periphery blurred?

Hi!

Well.. when shooting, I didn't use a macro mode.. my camera was set to point metering with a distance of 10cm.. i don't use inches.. (it is the smallest distance for my digicam - not very suitable for macro photos) and, of course, a bit of magic on computer.. adding a blur and glow.. that's all I think.. ahh.. and slightly brightened colors.. these flowers don't need to be enhaced much..
