Taken a few years ago and one I came across reviewing older photos. This was taken with my Digital Rebel when I had it. Slightly sharpened, otherwise this is how it came out. This was my first Digital SLR camera so I was learning how to use it at this point.

Beautiful tulips. The annual Tulip Festival at the local Botanical Gardens was last weekend. Just a couple of the ones I came back with.

Trojansoc, Wonder what kind of tulip that is with the fringy edges. I don't believe I have ever seen one like that.

Thanks for stopping by and if anyone else has TULIP photos put them on here...there are so many varieties and they are wonderful....

Mandy,

I'm far from a floral expert, but I thought those fringed ones were very unusual. There were literally thousands of them at these gardens in dozens of varieties--lots of funs to shot. One more I thought was striking (I played with a radial blur on the background) is below. My wife calls it a candy-cane tulip
