I really like the exceptional clarity and color you captured here. Very nice indeed!

Please forgive me if you were not looking for C/C. The only thing I'm not sure of is the overall composition as published. That "dark hole" left of center where the leaves disappear into the shadows draws my gaze and then I go around and around, following the bright flowers, occasionally landing on the bee or the brilliantly sharp stapens, but never settling on anything.

Maybe cropping would help? But then, I'm partial to that sort of solution (^:

I eregret to say that this shot has been done with point and shoot camera.. and in a fast speed.. because bumble bees usually are fast movers, 1 second and gone to the next flower.. no metering, no framing.. I loved the fresheness of colors.. and nice objects as well.. C&C are most welcome.. Until now I have been just shooting (3 years already - this pic is quite old though, my experience has grown since then).. never have got any comments.. wether good or bad.. I am ready to learn..

I am the first to admit while I usually try to frame my shots, I often find that when I look at them later everything is all wrong. The rapid feedback we can give ourselves, and get from others using digital provides a wonderful opportunity to improve our skills. I am learning too.

You took a great shot with that point-and-shoot camera. Just goes to show, it doesn't take fancy equipment to take a great photo! Nice job!

It`s a wonderful picture, exactly the way it is.

Pictures like this can be cropped in various ways. My take would be like this

Hi! I am back from holidays with no online..

Nice crop Torgny..

As I told already this is an old pic.. now I do the framing while shooting, nothing much to crop.. it's esay when you get some experience.. and I want to keep all the pixels I can get..
