Out of curiosity I had to try the Zenitar 16mm on a close up to see if it is any good.

Here is a couple ofphotos ,what is your opinion.

looks soft in the center... what's the focal distance?

Hi Flippedgazelle:

I thank you for your comment . The lens used is in no way a close up lens

it's a Zenitar 16mm fisheye lens, that could explain the bit of softness in the middle

given it's focal length.It still all things considered does a decent job.
