I think too many people tend to ignore the fact that if a tele focuses closely enough to be used this way, it was designed with that in mind, and they miss some opportunities to get shots that are acceptable or better. Dedicated macros are great, but often often don't let you get close enough to skittish subjects to utilize their closeup potential. These are each just fine, and the dragon fly is outstanding.
