I saw this in the park. This funnel-shaped flower detachedfrom the stalk easily in the wind. The following is a shot taken before the detachment. The stalk will widen out to shape like a star as can seen in the picture.

The petals are wrinkled. Here lateral lighting has been used to unveil the wrinkles.

They look like varieties of Petunia but my opinion is mainly based on the ones in a hanging basket out the front door. The wrinkled ones must be one of the many special varieties. By any other name still nice to look upon.

It is very kind of you. This flower has a similar shape as the one for Petunia but the leaves are elongated and are different from the one I saw for Petunia.Despite the difference, thanks for the effort.
