Here in Kansas we are in a blanket of ice. The trees are beautiful. Took this late this morning. Thanks for looking.

Mandy,this spellbound pinecone!... looks like aglasswork by mother natureindeed

Would like to see it in larger size! A few moreexampleswould not hurt, btw: )

We had the same conditions here and all the trees looked like glass. Unfortunately I didnt see the pinecones for the trees. Never thought to take a close up shot I was too busy trying to capture the awesome beauty of the forest. Thanks for showing me what I missed.

bynx...ours finally melted today. I work on the 6th floor of our building and could only watch at 10:00am this morning the sun shining and the beauty of the melt. Would love to see your photos of full view. Thanks for looking....looks like a bunch have viewed but no one takes the time to comment. Oh well.......
