These are the sharpest I have gotten so far but they seem a bit to bright. Any suggestions?

Full sun exposures can be overly contrasty - that is the problem with the flowers, but the exposere is fine for the flower flies. What you do depende on which you want to emphasize - you can leave it alone for the flies, try to eliminate the highlights on the flowers, or you can go for balance. In the followingquickie adjustmentI have gone for balance by lowering both brightness and contrast, so you lose crispness on the flies, but gain more eveness in color on the flowers by reducing the highlights. Someone with Photoshop might be able to do better.

Thank you for that, I have PS so I tried lowering the contrast and brightness but adding back the detail. It does look better.
