Default dragonfly BIF (Bug In Flight)

snapped this little beastie as it flitted about a marshy area at the park near my house... 40D, 400mm, 1/400 @ f/5.6

pre-focused at about the right distance, and lots of patience... and lots of blurry and missed shots, too!

Cool, I didn't think the camera would find the subject over the background but thought it best to check.

That was taken with a Canon 40D, although could be done with Nikon as well or any other dSLR, all you need to have is perfect timing like in this one
