Default garden flower

Going through some past RAW files, I found a few beauties I wanted to share. The buds are just now starting to show themselves and still much in the ground has not sensed spring yet and seeing so many wonderful shots here on this forum has got me dreaming of a full garden again!

Oh boy..This is a stunner. The way the light plays on the subject and background, and the effective use of DOF have delivered us another winner! How did you achieve those colors? hdr?

Glad you folks enjoyed this one as much as I enjoyed taking the photo! Yes, Robert, a little hdr to give it some shadow depth and decreasing exposure to darken colors.
