Default Flutterby

This Meadow Argus butterfly [Junonia Villida] must have been cold. It sat with wings outstretched for several minutes before flying off. Long enough for me to capture these two shots.

Usually all I get when trying to photograph a butterfly is its plain side - folded wings that are so well camouflaged as to be almost invisible.
