T, they are all great but those first 2-3 look almost 3D. NICE NICE NICE!

Thank you for viewing and the comments. On the 3D look - well, your last pictures really have the three dee look. Small aperture of course.

I prefer flower pics with a recognizable background, making the flowers appear in their "landscape"

Have some more questions on the Fuji. Searched the web. Someone called it "the flower camera" - meaning of course that besides generally being a good camera, it's extra versatile for flower and plant pics

It's really a very good utility camera, Torgny. I continue to be amazed at the results whether I'm shooting flowers or birds. The rest of the wildlife in the area is laying low for the time being -- except for the squirrel. But, I hope to get out and get some shots of deer, horses, etc. I'm REALLY looking forward to another shoot at the zoo! My only REAL gripe about it is the battery monitor sometimes doesn't read the real battery level and reports low power. It doesn't happen with Rayovac or Energizer NiHM so I'll probably get two more sets for travel. I can live with that.
