Beautiful, Dustin. They put me in mind of those paintings you see in some of the older Japanese restaurants.

Oh,

Great pictures, Dustin, and a great title. Just had a discussion with one of my sons about the forest as a room

With floor, walls and sometimes ceilings made out of foliage

Heard the expression "forest floor" first by Bahadir and made it part of my nature lexicon

Torgny.
Thank you, yes it is an analogy we often use, which is quite interesting with forest floor, and the forest canopy as the ceiling.

LTZ and Ordo,
Thank you both for having a look and for you kind words. It was just a such a gorgeous day out yesterday that I had to get out into nature for at least a few minutes.

Yep, work for me so I'm thinking that the $125 for the lens was a good investment as it's giving enjoyment not only to you but lots of us too!!

Where these with the gorillapod?

Hiawatha, Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated.

Mark - Thanks buddy. This lens really has a good price to enjoyment ratio, as well as really nice image quality. These were not shot with the gorillapod, just my normal heavy 'pod.
