Default The moon

got my tamron 70-300mm lense the other day, and thought id test it out tonight.

technicaly this is a close up....haha...





i have plenty others i took tonight, but this is my fav that ive transfered over so far. first time using this camera in the evening/night. put overall pretty pleased

used a tripod, didnt try handheld at all, and when ur taking pics the max focal length say 300 upwards, tripod is prob the best option either way

that is awesome. very crisp. was that with the canon version? what was the specs on the pic etc

sweet, ta. might give that a try see what my lense comes up with. is a great pic tho. dunno why but the moon looks so much better when its a half moon. gives it a sense of mystery about it

thank you. i am sorry if i hijacked your thread. i tried to take some more last night (stopped down to f11) but was not having a lot of luck, even with a tripod.
oh well, onto next target
