Default Jumping Spider

While I was continuing my hunt for Lady Beetles I happen to see this very shy jumping spider. It's not as nice as Bob M's shot but I thought it turned out OK.
Boy, these things sure don't stay still for very long. I guess that's why they are such good ambush predators.

Thanks for looking, Steve

The same setup as the Lady Beetles, Nikon D300 w Sigma 150mm f.2.8 macro

I spent most of my time playing chase the spider around the rose stem. Here I caught him peeking out for a brief second.

Thanks, It just occurred to me that he might be the reason there weren't any lady bugs on that particular rose bush.
