How did you get him (her) to look at you? (have you trained it? lol).
What light set up were you using?
Nice colours, and very sharp. I like it's 'mouth' - almost looks like it's smiling.
I've just got a Canon 100mm macro, and starting to have fun with it!

Paul, I was pretty close so he heard me and turned around to see what the noise was. This was taken with a Raynox DCR-250 attachment and a Canon regular external flash with a diffuser attached. I really like this lens. I don't think you'll regret buying it.

Amazing photo! Congratulations! I thought you need a ring flash for macro work. I never tried to use my flash on bugs when I use the 100mm lens. Thanks for sharing! I almost started to regret getting this lens...
