Default Lisas Ted

Hi Chums,
I got a Dslr today, Yippppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Just got it out of the box and my Wifes homemade Ted was my first capture along with some video of the wood fire I,m going to play on the tv when it's real cold.
I hope it's in the right section.
I cant believe how many new possibilities it opens up. This pic was taken in a really dark room. iso 3200 1/15th sec hand held 75mm vr lens.
Cheers Chums.
Ps, I was after the creepy psyco Ted look, he he he he

Congrats on your new DSLR! I can't seem to pull up an EXIF to find out what you got, though. What did you get?

Hi Gary, ch ch cheeears Mateyyyy,
After 5 months of do I don't I, and reading loads of reviews and handling loads of cameras in shops. I got a new nikon d5000 kit with 18-55 vr and 55-200 vr for 550. and don't tell me Wife but a Tamron 10-24 as well for 100
I,m just knocked out by it all, it's brilliant. I really wanted a swizzel out screen as I like to often shoot low and am fed up with having my head n the floor.
I,ve just got an infra red filter off of e bay for 15 quid so cant wait to use that. Crikey I better switch my phone off before the bank rings, there bound to think someones stolen my card. It's had more activity today than the rest of the year.
Cheers Mattteeey.
Mark

Yay Mark! Now you know that you set the bar pretty high with your non-dslr, so you are going to really have to turn out some results with this one! I have faith in you, though. Congratulations!

Oh, great pic!

With your churches and other landscape opportunities, I bet that Tamron gets a good workout

Nice theme I love the brown hue but try a clear candle with that it sure would come out better.... and will not look so fuzzy...

Congratulations on your new camera, Mark. I almost missed this as I don't often visit the close-up forum. Just happen to pop into this section today, or I would have missed it. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
