Wow, thanks all of you for the interest. I should have added this shot was taken at the "Blooms and Butterfly" exhibit at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Oh. Twice a day the do a release of some butterflies in one of the plant rooms. Boy that helps narrow it down.

I thought that might be the case. It may be a type of Satyr, but not a North American one. These butterfly houses get all kinds of exotics, especially showy tropical ones.
