Default Pod mystery solved

I've been seeing these pod's crop up all around my back porch, bout the size of a pea. I could never figure out what they were. Finally caught this little guy in the act. We call em sweat bee's, don't know what they really are. Now I have to decide whether to eliminate all the egg pods or suffer the consequences on the chance that I can catch some of them hatching (first pic is the finished product)
