Default Close Up, But No Macro!

Since I used an ordinary prime-lens and not a dedicated macro lens to shoot the flower.

Shot was taken indoors on a rainy day, with my Nikon D300s and my new AF-S Dx Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G - lens. I am really satisfied with it's performance, good for low-light situations too. Wonderful bokeh as well. I have been warned about it's fringing problems, of which I have not seen anything yet...

Have a nice weekend!

A beautiful shot. Very sharp, yet the flower looks exquisitely creamy and rich!

Thank you saly (with one 'l')

The light was available and indirect light coming through the window on the right.

Best regards,

Thank you jjdog2 - I'm not used to get credits for my pictures - not so fast anyway. I have posted in the HDR-section before but stopped now because nobody ever comments...

Best regards,
Walter

That is an excellent shot. The contrasts with the light and dark is very nice with rich looking colors.
