Default Summer Rain...

Summer is not always sun and blue skies here in Scandinavia. In between very hot days, we get som wet ones as well. I never did dare go out to shoot when it's wet, but this time I made an exception.

All shot with Nikon D300s + Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO Macro DG

Tripod, lots of luck - and a Recicle Bin full of discarded shots, becaus of the slight wind mooving the leaves. I had to turn up ISO to 800 and even then there was 98% motion blur...

It looks refreshing with the water droplets. Macros and wind don't mix very well.

I think they are beautiful shots. Call me crazy but they look like a bunch of tiny glass turtles to me

I agree with saly, the droplets magnify the veins in the leaves, making them look like turtle shells
