Default Damages??

Not the series but the bee.

I noticed this bee on the iron weed wasn't moving. I thought it was dead. When I touched it with my finger it began to move again. It seemed a bit slow but it continued to crawl on the blossom. I noticed the left side of it's head had some discoloration - the left eye, left antenna and a few of the small eye spots.

Damage or disease??

There is a disease that has been killing bees all across the country - maybe a fungus or some other organism in combination with a virus (not sure of the details offhand), but the bees can resist one of them, but not both at once.

What a shame, they work so hard and so many die on the job. Great work ethic.
