Lovely colours. Is the refuge a stop over on the migratory route or do the Monarchs stay there?

I am amazed at how something so small and delicate can make such long journeys.

They stay all winter. here are some more shots of the clusters of butterflies. When they hibernate, they are the color of dead leaves.
