Default Backyard critters

I've got a Marumi Achromat +5 diopter, this was the first time I tried it out on the end of my 50mm lens with my NEX. I'm very impressed with the sharpness:



An orb-weaving spider wrapping her lunch:


The face of an orb-weaving spider; she got angry with me and charged down the web, which was a bit startling at that close distance:

I agree with jj, I have tried a bazillion times to get a decent shot of those tiny flies just so I can see what they look like. Great job on the series.
