Default A New Assassin

I found this assassin bug which had just shed its skin. The old skin is under the stem of the plant. You can see the "old legs" sticking out.

Good shot of the bug. I've never seen one around here, and I look pretty closely! I wonder if SoCal is too dry for them?

I'm convinced that they come in a variety of sizes. I can tell that is small, I seen one like that and there are big ones also.
I'm learning a lot here and loving it.
