Ah now as you know I am an expert on the Latin names .................. this I think is Orchidus Likus Thingacus.

It looks a bit like wild sweet pea flower to me - but given the above reply - what do I know. Lovely shot

Yes, it's the thingacus. How could I forget that, being a countryman of Carl Linnaeus, the binominal name organizer of plants and animals. I think it was 1758, that immensely productive year

What's in a name? It is a beautiful and colourful shot and that is all that matters!

Nice shot and great colors. Just do what I do and make up a name for it

Lovely pic of the Himalayan Balsam Torgny, with a beautiful creamy background. Love it.

BTW, you touch those seed pods, they will explode which is the plants way of spreading the seeds for reproduction.

banksy,

lorenww,

cardys,

Thank you for viewing and the comments. Seems it's native to India and has spread all over in certains biotopes. Himalayan Balsam is the name in English

Kjempespringfrø Kæmpe-Balsamin Jättipalsami Indian Balsam Indisches Springkraut

I'll try the trick -
