Default Aged ropes

I had to lean over the guard rail to get this picture. The articulated LCD screen on the Canon T3i made it possible.

Thats a slick shot with some really nice detail. Any idea what the ropes are used for?

Gary, thanks! I don't know what the ropes are for My guess is probably for tying the boat to the pier since there are metal rings laying not far from it. Please see the attached picture.

Thanks, JJ. I guess the Sigma 18-250mm Super Zoom is not as bad as most people think . Sometimes, it does give me some fairly good shots.
