Default After the storm

We has a torrential downpour this evening (some areas had the beginnings of tornado formations). After the weather settled down, I decided to go play. I cannot wait until my D70 comes in to go play with it! As always, comments are always welcome (why else would we post but to get constructive criticizism).

Nice orange rose, haven't seen those for a while. I think rose needs a bit of sharpening though.
Congratulations on D70 purchase, that's something I dream of these weeks. I will probably wait for couple of months, just to see what will happen when it hits the masses, and, of course, until I put some money aside for it

nice series, dr. crawley

Especially nice is the variety in size of water droplets on the petals and leaves.

I am in the same boat as you at the moment, waiting for my D70...

I like the shot of the deep red leaves. I think the shot would have been a little better if the DOF had focused on the leaves right in front. Where you can see that drop of water running down the leaf half-hidden. IMHO, having that area sharply in focus would have worked better..

in my opinion...

PW

p.s. Can you tell I dislike making suggestions to people who've been at this longer than me?
