i went to Sandy Hook for Mother's Day, and i dragged home a massive piece of driftwood that probably weighs over 300 pounds.....lol

this isn't it....lol....but it had a very cool texture on it, so i snapped a couple, and got this one

enjoy



btw....this would've been good for the closeup challenge...

any hues you think would work? maybe a sepia? because it is already for the most part b/w.....except for the slight green of the algea....

Hmm... Not sure. There is lots of texture there and a bit of colour might help bring it out a bit more.

Do you remember someone posting a macro of water on a green bench? This reminds me of it.

i'll try a couple different hues....see which works best..then i'll post it
