Hello everyone my name is James King. I am new here so hopefully I dont get confused. Thought I would share a picture of my little friend. I call him Independance because he was born July 4 2003. I actually witness a mother mouse giving birth.
It was a long wait but after a few weeks them little mice were crawling around on their own. Though sadly they were all caught by some unruley stray cat or something. Luckily I managed to save 2 of them. One was a bit camera shy but the other seemed to enjoy being photographed. The other is named July. Anyway here is a picture of Independance. My biggest little critter in the world.

Aww. I like mice most of the time. They look soft and cuddly. Say hi to the both.

I told the mice hello for you Ferny. Wether or not they acknowleged me saying hello is a different story. Though I must say they are doing quite well for themselves.
One of them now has a reddish brown coat and the other is nearing that stage. Its all a matter of time before they show their full mature colours.
Mice havent been a creature of interest to me but when I found them little critters, instantly I felt like a father. The love I have for wild life has allowed me to better understand the animals as well as learn theyre preferences.
I have pictures of some finches taken from the front yard however they need some enhancments done to lessen the distortion. Thank you for the comments.
