Two close-ups (reverse lens) of an ice-cube. I like the first but find the second so-so. I'd be interested to see what others thought.

dude...that is so cool! you could have so much fun trying to freeze the ice in weird shapes...

try freezing soda, or orange juice....or some weird beverage you'd never think of freezing! then you can have an ice pop! haha

nice!

Thanks. Trying it with different liquids could be interesting.

Nice one ferny, the second one looks like a giant wave crashing into rocks. :-)

Reminds me of the pictures of the surface of the distant fronzen moons. Guess the NASA scientists knew what frozen ice looked like.

Most interesting, the first one rocks the second is too vague.

Very nice Ferny. I like the first one best. May I ask how large or small an area the photo encompasses? I too use a reversed lens at times and have much to learn. Good work.

Thanks again for the kind words. I think you're right selvin.

I'm guessing as it is cropped and resized, that the area photographed is less than 10mm. There or there abouts.
