The sun was just beginning to set, and had gone behind the trees which were behind me, but as you can see, a beam of light was still on this lilly, I think it made for a nice effect.

OK, I opened this up at work and it had a decidedly green tint to it on my monitor there that I didn't notice this morning when I uploaded it, so I went back into photoshop and adjusted the levels so it looks more like it should. Did anyone else think it looked too green before?

hm....it seems to still have a green tint..at the ends of the petals....

this shot seems like it could use a contrast boost, and some more saturation..

so what you're saying is that this is a good excuse for me to have to get my head around photoshop! Actually, I did edit this one in photoshop instead of the Arcsoft program I have. I'm just so slow at PS because I'm not used to it yet. If I were to take on any of Eric Can's projects in photoshop, I'd be spending an hour a photo! I'll get there eventually, though. I am finally starting to get most of the basic stuff figured out at least. You think more saturation would help the flower appear more yellow/less green? Or should I adjust the color levels away from green a bit more?

Hey, did you notice the ant on the petal just to the left of center at the top? I never did until just now!
