We weree in the field last week and I decided to take this interesting close-up of the safety selector on my M16. Let me know what you think.

This is a great photo that needs only a tiny bit of tweaking in contrast. If you're using Photoshop, drag the sliders in just a little toward the center in Levels. I doubt it needs anything more than that.

Overall, I like the photo, but could you have closed your aperture some more? The fact that the edges are out of focus is fine, but I think the entire switch should probably be sharp, and it starts to blur towards the top.

I could have, but it was taken in Program AE as a spur of the moment thing and it started raining shortly after that, so I didnt have time to really look at it and make any adjustments.
