I'm sure the scientific name isn't lace wing, but that be what I calls them.

Ferny, I believe this insect is called a Green Lacewing. Looks like you have been experimenting with that reversed lens stuff again. Isn't experimentation fun? :-)

Thanks geoffs and Julies. Yup, reverse lens again. It is a little big for it really, so had to zoom out for some.

They looked fine when I edited them last night, although I was a little tipsy.
