I just took this picture and thought it might be worth showing it:



I adjusted some curves and added the frame.

This picture is not a crop!

i like how the leave is sharp opposed of the DOF on the bug

This is a great image. Very sharp. It would be nice with a bit more DOF to see the back of the fella....

thank you guys!

You're right with the DOF. on one hand it looks really good with the leave being sharp in contrast to the background. but on the other hand the fly itself could have a little more DOF.

But I guess that's the best I can get by two field glass lenses being attached to each other to be used as an ultra-macro lense. :-)

Wow... Yes, I guess you would not get much DOF that way. Still, an exceptional capture and one you can be proud of. It is "print and hang" worthy in my book.

Yes, I think I'm gonna print a 15x10 cm of that picture. but I'm still collecting some more to make a collage or something like that. I'd like to have a poster size photo, framed, hanging in my room. But 2 MP ain't enough for one singel pic to be printed in such a size.
