Actually it turns out they're not cone flowers they'reGaillardia, otherwise know as indian blanket flower.

ok, susan, i can tell from wat you've posted in the past, and lately, that you know wat you are doing, so i will give you one tip....

when taking shots of flowers...(do as i say not as i do ) look for the "different" angle, lighting, composition, so it will stand out.....

i like the second one...it is "different" than most flower shots....
