This the same game that Ferny is playing. See if you can guess what this is. If nobody gets it in two days, I'll post another clue. Nikon D100, Sigma 28-70mm zoom, 20mm and 10mm extension tubes piggybacked. Distance to subject is about one inch.

It does look a bit like a circular saw blade. But there isn't enough evidence of friction there. All I see is the slight scruff down the picture. The metal doesn't look smooth enough either. Although it is hard to gauge the size of the actual thing. So you might be really close.

It doesn't look like the thing you suggested I take a picture of either. Is it that? Don't worry, I won't way what it is. I've just taken some pictures of your suggestion to. So please let me know if it is that or isn't. If it is I won't post the pictures.

I'm looking forward to the next or final picture.

Ferny, it is not what we discussed so feel free to go ahead with that one.

I am going to wait,at least until tomorrow, to see some more comments and then say who is right and who is wrong...

Well Mactek got it right. I was going to ask what type, size, and brand but I figured it might be too hard to get that from a picture of one of the carbide teeth.
