I was surprised to see some grean on him when it showed up in the picture.

for some reason it reminds me of that biscuit slice called "white Christmas" well it's the same color:-)

Very cool looking spider, I haven't ever seen anything like it either. It almost looks like a toy. What part of the world is this spider in? What kind is it, if you know? Great capture!

It is in eastern NC, and it is a jumping spider. He kept jumping on the camera as I was trying to shoot him. He jumped on my arm once and I got a quick pic of that but it didn't focus well.

BTW, he isn't poisonous so I am not that crazy.

That's an incredible spider. Note the large eyes at the front.

Anyways, that's a jumping spider. It's figured that jumping spiders have amazing sight, and it's figured that they can see detailed images.

Next time you see one, wave your finger infront of it and watch it track you.

May I ask what city/country you took that picture in?

Eastern North Carolina in the USA! He was following every movement of mine. He jumped on the camera several times
